Accrofils is a family craft workshop born from a passion, a need to create, to express oneself through fibers, fabrics and colors.

Accrofils is Valérie and her daughter Elisa.

As avid readers, we began our business with the sale of reading cushions, which have now become a very successful must-have. From one point to another, from one thread to another, we followed the thread of our desires.

Practicing knitting since the age of 4, without ever stopping, Valérie learned everything from her grandmother, as well as her mother. Passing on knowledge to his daughter keeps this passion alive from generation to generation.

We first turned to dyeing fibers with plants. A real challenge. A little witchcraft and a lot of patience are necessary to extract the quintessence of colors. However, vegetable dyeing represents a very large physical load that we unfortunately cannot assume.

We have, in this same natural state of mind, literally fallen in love with different noble, raw yarns that we offer as is without dyeing, just in their natural colors with shimmering colors and incomparable softness.

Hungry for colors and fans of shawls, we turned to so-called “chemical” dyes, mainly eco-responsible, to offer you our noble yarns, dyed by us, in kits developed according to Swiss or foreign designer models.
If you do not find what you are looking for in our kits, we offer our individually dyed wools in the widest possible range, whether in terms of fibers or colors.
We dye in microquantities because craftsmanship is also and above all exclusive. Each kit is therefore unique and we also dye to order.

We are constantly working on different concepts of aesthetic, but above all practical, everyday objects and are constantly looking for exceptional fabrics or threads.

All our creations are made at home, in our garden or in our workshop where we welcome you, if you wish, with pleasure.
